You’re are Promise Failures – Ede Student Tell SU

RE-VISIT
On the Manifesto day , they say and I quote ;

Mr President said ‘ I will make sure there’s minimal and reduction in transport fare to South Campus as well as easy access to transportation ‘

Miss Vice President said ‘ i will try my best for the equality of student on both Campus ‘.

Mr Welfare Director said ‘ I will make sure there’s easy access to transportation for students in South Campus and reduce the amount paid for transport . I will make sure South Campus students pass through less stress to get and come back from South ‘ .

I wonder when this great citadel will have a vibrant, ever conscious, ever militant leaders because ceremonial leaders has been on that top seat ever since the risen of SUL.

Fake promise are made to students most especially those in South Campus and use us as tools of campaign to win our hearts.

Just this morning , a student fell from the Campus Shuttle (Korope). We still sit in 4s and risk out lives every morning to South mindless of dust and dirt. We took all the aches and pains all through all in the name of we’re going for classes yet nothing was done about us.

We are treated like strangers from the other side. I sometimes feel if we ain’t real students because the pains is now becoming unbearable.

Mr President and Mr Welfare assures us the reduction of the transport price and well fixed shuttle.

Yet to be fulfilled!!!!!

Maybe our case will be attended to when we sustain bigger injuries or accidentally claim one of us lives then we would be seen as students too.

Campus Shuttles (Korope) has no door which endanger our lives as we’ve heard of students in the past that fall and get injured but now it has happened .

After all this pains and stress we pass through weekly , we get distracted before getting to class due to stress and aches while going to class we never complain because we believed we would be fine .

They all won our heart by telling us they will look into our issues but yet nothing has been done about it because they think we are different and still treat us different and never looked into our issues.

Transport reduction ??? No!!!
Easy access??? No!!!
South Campus bus stop??? No!!!
Conducive class in South??? No!!!

So were those promises said out of watered mouth ???

WE WOULD MAKE MEANING SOON SOUTH CAMPUS
We won’t stop or relent till our cries are heard and look into.
