Work of Art: Asake Returns With New Album

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ahmed Ololade better known as Asake, has returned to the music scene with the release of his sophomore album “Work of Art”.

The album has 14 songs in its tracklist including three earlier released songs.

They include Olorun, Awodi, 2:30, Sunshine, Mogbe, Basquiat, Amapiano ft Olamide, What’s up my G, I believe, Introduction, Remember, Lonely at the Top, Great Guy, Yoga.

Magicsticks, Blaise Beatz, P. Prime, and Anoop D’Souza’s impeccable production work is responsible for much of the album’s sonic brilliance. These talented producers collaborated to shape the album’s lush soundscapes, adding depth and dimension to Asake’s already exceptional compositions.

With ‘Work of Art,’ Asake knows that his winning formula does not require any tweaking. It distinguishes Asake from his peers with a sound forged with choral harmonies and string arrangements of Fuji.

On “Olorun,” the meditative opener to his second album, Work of Art, he praises the Yoruba Supreme Being before praising himself. “I’m a brand new man,” he announces.
