Why Naira Marley Did Not Feature On Zlatan’s Album

released his first studio album ‘Zanku’ on Friday and many of his fans were surprised as his ally Naira Marley did not feature on it.

The 17-track release, includes productions from Rexxie, Spellz, Kiddominant, and other prominent music producers.

The rapper collaborates with stars like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and others in the Nigerian music industry.

But speaking on why Naira Marley did not feature on ‘Zanku’, Zlatan said he saw no reason the former should be on the debut album.

Asked why his friend did not feature, he said: “The reason why Naira Marley is not on the album is because there is no reason” said Zlatan.

“Everybody knows he is my friend but this is my selection. It is not really about what people have to say despite we are friends, I have my way and I have my selections.”

“It has nothing to do about our friendship, this is just the Zanku Album and it is my selection. ”

“We have a joint album coming out in 2020 so that’s not a serious issue.”

The rapper held a listening party for Zanku, which means Zlatan Abeg No Kill Us.

Recall that the singers were arrested in connection with an alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in May.
