Who Replaced Simi In Nigerian Idol ? Reason For Her Absence Revealed

Music star, Simi, has confirmed that she has been absent from the show due to ill-health.

Simi, named a judge on the new season of the popular television reality show alongside D’Banj, revealed this through a tweet via her Twitter handle, @SympLySimi, in response to a tweet by one of her fans.

The tweet read: “I’ll be back boo. I wasn’t feeling good and the auditions are not live recordings. Pls enjoy the guest judges in the meantime. “

As judges for the Nigerian Idols as the countdown to the show begins and will be premiered in February.

With an immense impact in the Nigerian music industry space, it’s with great pleasure that Toolz got a seat as a Guest Judge because Simi was unable to make the second day of the audition.

Season Seven of Nigerian Idol has seen D’Banj and Simi replace the pair of Seyi Shay and DJ Sose who were judges in season six of the talent show and joined Obi Asika as judges on the show.

TV personality, IK Osakioduwa, also returned as the host of the latest season of the show.
