Risala Foundation shared the devastating news on Facebook,

“It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of brother, teacher, friend Mouaz Al-Nass. A light has extinguished. He was so close to us at Risala that it’s hard to imagine Risala without him. We are in deep mourning at the loss of our friend – not for him, for we know what awaits him – but for all of us, at what we have lost. We walked with a true friend of God.”
