Myles Gray Bio – A public inquiry into the murder of a man who was killed following a violent interaction with up to nine Vancouver police officers is scheduled to begin on Monday.

Following the course of the inquiry, the officers may be asked questions about what happened in public for the first time in more than seven years.

The coroner’s inquiry is looking into the death of Myles Gray, 33, who passed away on August 13, 2015, while engaging in combat with police in a backyard in Burnaby, British Columbia.

According to a report from the B.C. Prosecution Service, officers restrained Gray’s arms and legs, punched, kicked, and kneed him, pepper-sprayed him, and hit him with a baton.
