West Ham vs Manchester United: Team news, injuries, possible lineups

David Moyes’s West Ham United will tonight clash with Manchester United at home in the Premier League.

Moyes’s men heads into this clash following their 2-0 victory over Leicester City last weekend in the Premier League.

The Hammers are currently occupying the 15th position on the Premier League table with 38 points from 36 games.

Moyes’s side secured their Premier League status for next season last week, when they went to Leicester City and pulled off an impressive 2-0 victory at the King Power Stadium, courtesy of goals from Joao Mario and Mark Noble.

Moyes is expected to start the same squad that beat Leicester on Saturday, leaving forward, Arnautovic to be supported by both Mario and Manuel Lanzini.

Striker, Javier Hernandez has been ruled out from this clash due to knee injury, while Michail Antonio, Sam Byram, Winston Reid and Pedro Obiang remain long-term absences.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United heads into this clash after their 1-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League on Friday.

Mourinho’s men won the reverse of this fixture 4-0 on the opening day of the season at Old Trafford, Lukaku bagging a brace, while Anthony Martial and Pogba also got themselves on the scoresheet.

United are currently occupying the second position on the Premier League table with 77 points from 36 games.

The Red Devils only need a point from this clash to wrap up second place on the EPL log for this season.

Mourinho himself goes into the contest with a remarkable record against Moyes.

The Portuguese gaffer is unbeaten in 10 Premier League matches against sides managed by the Scot.

United will be without their top scorer, Romelu Lukaku for the final two games of the season in the EPL, although the Belgium international should return for the club’s FA Cup final clash with Chelsea on May 19.
