We Are Ready For Reopening, To Follow COVID-19 Guidelines – Oyo Health Tech Provost

In line with Oyo state government directive in containing Covid 19 pandemic, Oyo state College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele, Ibadan is prepared ahead of resumption of students anytime with the steps so far taken.

The Provost of the College Mr. Siji Ganiyu stated this while fielding questions from journalists in his office.

In a release by the college Public Relation Officer Mr. Sola Samuel, the Provost said hand wash basin were strategically located within the school premises while body temperature gadgets were provided at the entrance of the College adding that nose masks would be provided for students on their resumption.

The Environmental Health expert expressed his belief that anytime the College resumes, there would not be any problem as the whole premises, offices and lecture rooms had also been disinfected to weaken the scourge of the corona virus.

He said since it is not sure when the pandemic will be over, it is better to put in place effective precautionary measure against the spread of the virus for safety.

Mr. Siji Ganiyu commended Oyo State government for the steps taken so far against the spread of covid 19 urging the people in their various worship centers and designations to cooperate with government to ensure that the case index of coronal virus in Oyo Sate is reduced to the bearest minimum.

The Provost appreciated Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde for supporting Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology since assumption of office appealing to government to graciously approve autonomy for the College for it to stand at per with other higher institutions of learning in the state.

He used the opportunity to advise the students of the College in their various homes to observe necessary precautionary protocol on coronal virus, to remain safe before, during and after resumption
