Unilorin SU senate suspends welfare sec. for embezzlement

The SU Senate Council has suspended the Student Union welfare secretary for 30 working days.

Com. Asukuti, Ibrahim Abdullah, has been suspended for 30 working days for embezzling public fund, with no recommendations for removal (Student Union).

The suspension was melted at the Senate sitting on 3rd February, 2017, after all evidences were presented before the house by UISAPC and the investigation committee of the council.

Com. Asukuti is the second member of the CEC to be suspended, after Com. Bash, SU Sport Secretary was suspended for 10 working days over misappropriation of funds.
