Trump Vs Biden: Shehu Sani Reacts To US Capitol Hill Invasion

The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the United States Capitol Hill invasion on Wednesday, January 6.

Ngnews247 had reported earlier that a curfew has been declared on Washington DC, capital of the United States of America by the mayor of the city, Muriel Bowser.

The development came following reported violent protest by some supporters of outgoing president Donald Trump. The Mayor in a tweeted statement following the breakdown of disturbances announced that Washington heads into curfew beginning from 6:00 pm tonight (Wednesday).

Reacting to the chaotic event, Sani took to his verified Twitter handle on Thursday morning to describe the cause of the disturbing event as tragic and unfortunate.

He tweeted: “Telling the truth and defending freedom and the rule of law should have no borders;the mob raid on the #CapitolHill is unreservedly condemned and what resulted from it is tragic and unfortunate. #Capitol”

Meanwhile, Shehu Sani had in a recent tweet expressed his worries as Nigeria’s government order COVID-19 vaccines from different nations.

The politician in a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday, January 6 said he wonder if Nigerians will still look African after receiving the combination of the vaccines expected from about three developed nations.
