Tomi was raised in a middle-class family in Lagos, Nigeria, and comes from a close-knit family that follows the Christian faith. She is a Yoruba woman originally from one of the Southwestern states. She speaks English, Yoruba, and Pidgin fluently. However, further information about her parents and siblings is scarce at this time.

I just woke up one day and started googling the easiest way to be an actor. So I started by going for auditions in the first year of my career. I went for numerous auditions and out of maybe 3, definitely would get 2 callbacks and that’s how I started growing little by little. I wouldn’t say I’ve gotten my big break just yet but have done a couple of things that a few people have seen as I’m yet to touch as much water.
However, Tomi started her acting career in 2018 landing a YouTube comedy series by Nigerian comedian Bovi titled, “Back to School”. She later got more roles in other production and gradually grew in the Nollywood industry.
In 2022, she landed a role in the Ndani TV series “Love Like This”. She also landed a role in the young adult series titled “Schooled”. Tomi got her big break when she was cast as “Rahila Bello” in the Netflix original young adult drama series “Far From Home”. Since then, she has become a recognized face in the Nollywood movie industry.
