Tinubu Requests Senate Confirmation for Seven Ministerial Nominees

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday submitted a request to the Senate for the confirmation of seven new ministerial nominees.

The request was outlined in a letter from the executive branch, which was presented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a session in the upper legislative chamber.

This follows President Tinubu’s decision on Wednesday to dismiss five ministers and abolish two ministries.

Additionally, he reallocated portfolios among several ministers in a significant cabinet reshuffle.
