The Future Awards: Burna Boy Reacts To Wins
2019 is obviously one of the best years for afro-fusion star Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy, who earned two awards at ‘The Future Awards ‘.
Burna Boy won in ‘The Young Person of the Year’ category and The Future Award Prize for Music in the event which held in Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, November 24.
Naijaparry reports that the self-proclaimed African Giant was the only individual who carted away two prizes.
Reacting to the feat in a twitter post, the singer expressed his excitement while describing it as a reward for his hardwork.
He tweeted “Shout out to @tfaafrica for the YOUNG PERSON OF THE YEAR and PRIZE FOR MUSIC. Honour truly lies in hard work, diligence and resilience. Let’s keep pushing positive narratives about our beloved Africa.”
