Super Eagles Will Deliver 2026 World Cup Ticket – Jamilu Collins
The Super Eagles are battle ready for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, according to defender, Jamilu Collins.
Jose Peseiro’s men will open their campaign with an home game against the Likuena of Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Thursday.
The three-time African champions will then face the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Huye Stadium, Butare.
The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the last edition of the global soccer fiesta hosted by Qatar.
The West Africans will also face the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, Amavubi of Rwanda and Squirrels of Benin Republic in Group C.
Collins, who plays for Sky Bet Championship club, Cardiff City says the Super Eagles are fired up for the qualifiers.
“We are excited for the games coming up, everyone called up is looking forward to it,” the left-back told the Super Eagles media.
“The mindset is ,Let’s do it again , the one you guys are promoting at the moment . We believe in Nigerians, we know they will always support us. We are always grateful to the fans for their support. We want to give them a good result.”
