Abia
For the second time in a week, Abia has trended on Twitter, as some Nigerians continue to decry what they describe as the height of environmental filthiness within major cities in the State.
They, however, lampooned the governor, Mr. Okezie Ikpeazu, saying the state has never had it this bad.
Pastor Chris
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome trends following viral video in which he fumes over suggestions made on the number of hours Christians should stay in church.
The Christ Embassy pastor who was visibly upset in the video questioned the audacity of those making such suggestions, saying ‘those are the number of hours they have left’.
Reacting to the video, some say even God admonishes Christians to respect constituted authority, while others maintained that there should be freedom of worship regardless.
Mompha
Social Media influencer, Ismaila Mustapha popularly known as Mompha has paid a surprise visit to fellow influencer Adedamola Adewale otherwise known as Adeherself.
Both Mompha and Adeherself had previously been arrested by the EFCC on suspicion of fraud.
Many are questioning the reason behind the visit and say it suggests a partnership of some sort, while others maintain that they are both innocent until proven otherwise.
Lagos State
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the reopening of schools for exit classes on August 3, worship centres on August 7th and restaurants from August 14.
Some people have hailed the news while others say it’s a bad idea especially with the daily rise in COVID-19 cases.
