Sho Mo Age Mi Ni? (Do you know my age)
Sho Mo Age Mi Ni?
My humble opinion tells me if an average Nigerian’s death will not visit him earlier than anticipated, he would need to make comedy, entertainment and humor his closest companions.
Sho Mo Age Mi Ni? has recently become the joke of the town. It is now mentioned everywhere you go just like MTN.
Sho Mo Age Mi Ni? translated to mean “Do you know my age “? has been a question the Nigerian civil society can’t do without throwing to one another on a daily basis, even rightly before it became a funny social bandwagon at all.
We are in a country where the cloth seller’s son is putting on rags, the meat seller’s daughter have meatless dinner.
These are chiefly in agreement with the fact that Nigeria despite her immeasurable natural endowments still find it extremely cumbersome to feed her nation.
People have graveyards as roads, while some schools in their dilapidated state is not near reasonableness.
The above coupled with many other sociopolitical faux pas are indispensable enough to serve as reasons why Nigerians should not be called names for seeking joy and relieving social pains using jokes, comedies and whatever.
Besides Sho Mo Age Mi Ni is not costly and detrimental to anyone’s personality. It’s a normal thing we utter on a daily basis before it became an overnight social bandwagon.
Thanks, Democrat
