Reminisce Early Life and Education
Born in Kaduna state, Reminisce originates from Ajilete, Yewa South LGA in Ogun State. The rapper is signed to Edge Records and he is also the founder and creative director of Les Roses Rouge (LLR) Records.
During his school days, he has great taste of both local and foreign music as well as performing in other extra curricular activities. He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic and bagged a diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
Reminisce Career
Reminisce in 2006 recorded his first song and recorded a rap album at Coded Tunes but didn’t release the album as we was still in school and wanted to focus on his studies. In 2008, Reminisce returned to music being featured on 9ice’s song ‘Bachelor’s Life’. Reminisce in his first single, ”Ever Since’ also featured 9ice, with his second son being ‘If Only’.
Reminisce in 2014, was named on of the seven “World Rappers You Should Meet” by TIME Magazine. Also named by “NotJustOk” as one of Nigeria’s top three hip hop artists in 2014. In 2015, he featured Olamide and Phyno in a song titled ‘Local Rappers’ which brought about controversies with netizens suggesting the song was targeted at other rappers such as MI and Mode9.
Remininsce in 2015, was named a brand ambassador for Origin alcoholic beverage brand. Reminisce achieved the feat as the only Nigerian rapper to have two albums debut on the billboard charts.

The rapper is has long since been married to his childhood friend, Iya Hafusa and their union has been blessed with two children. The actor is focused on being a good father and being an active part of his children’s lives. Reminisce stressed that he understands the importance of being there for his children, so his priorities are shifted towards them.
