Real Reason We Introduced ‘N-Power Transition’ – FG
The Federal Government of Nigeria says it introduced the N-Power Transition Survey “to help further map N-Power Batch 1 beneficiaries to available economic opportunities”, Naijaparry reports.
The government adds that it aims “to improve specialized training to matched opportunities” for beneficiaries of the scheme.
The Muhammadu Buhari administration made this known in an instruction on the dashboard of Batch 2016 volunteers. The directive was seen by this online news medium.
The ‘N-Power Transition’ message surfaced last month . But it disappeared soon. Although, it was restored on the N-Power Volunteer Network (NPVN) portal recently.
Beneficiaries are required to log in to their NPVN portal to choose the sector(s) of their choice. The options range from becoming a SANEF (Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility) agent to community police.
Part of the conditions the apex government stipulated is that participation in the survey does not guarantee employment or retention.
It further states that it is in no way connected to the exit of N-Power volunteers from the Programme, while adding that “presented options are not final and more options will be made available periodically depending on economic realities”.
