Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Biography

Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin was born on February 15th, 1972 in Burutu, Delta state, Nigeria to Livingson Stevenson Toboukeyei Fufeyin and Asetu Fufeyin. He is a televangelist, prophet and founder of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM) in Warri, Delta state.

Prophet Jeremiah is widely known to engage him self in some philanthropist work through his church . He regularly donates money and food items to orphans, widows and the less fortunate people in his church and neighbouring communities

Fufeyin was born into a polygamous home, being the 22 child out of his father’s 36 children. He had his primary school education at Zuokunor Primary School in Burutu between 1981 and 1986 and his secondary education at Gbesa Grammar School Ojobo, between 1986–1992.

Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin was a very hardworking businessman and ventured into several businesses during his youth to make ends meet. At a point in his business career, he encountered Jesus Christ and converted into Christianity.

Prophet Jeremiah’s first step as a Christain leader was when he started a small Christain fellowship under the umbrella of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries as a house fellowship coordinator where he ministered to people.

Within a short time, he began a deliverance prayer outreach in a little space at Western Road off Airport Road, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. In a bid to further his divine purpose, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries was formed to carry on the work of God to save the unsaved, heal the blind, and bring deliverance and to set the captives free.

Today, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries has grown into one of the biggest Nigerian churches, with a congregation of over 100,000 members, and a multibillion naira auditorium that stands on an expense of 16 hectares of land under construction. The movement also has a television channel, Mercy TV beaming signals to thousands of people world.

Fufeyin has been criticised for his loud acts of charity, very public and showy focus on demons and deliverance. On April 1st, 2017, he shared his own thought on the scandal issue going on between Apostle Suleman Johnson and a lady. The man of God defended Apostle Suleman against his sex scandal, describing him as “innocent” and knows nothing about what he is being accused.

Fufeyin is married to Anthonia Fufeyin and they have four children – Harriet, Kindness, Goodness and Happiness. He lives in Warri, Delta state with his family.
