PRINCIPAL OFFICERS AT FPE SURC AND SUJC ELECTED

FPE PRESS reporter G.song gathered that gradually the FPE Students Unionism is taken a strong shape, dimension and up to prominence,Considering the relevance of student unionism to the growth of an academic institution like Federal polytechnic ede,FPE SUJC and SURC has gone to the poll to elect new principal officers at the legislative arm of the Student Union Government of the institution.

FPE PRESS reporter G.song gathered that the election which was held at Olagunsoye oyinlola hall banquet of the Polytechnic was free of hitches and manipulations and transparency was guaranteed and secured ,the in – house election eliminated violence and
rancour that usually characterize student elections while its trailed excitements, reactions and expectations from students over the conduct of the election.

According to the FPE ISEC pro in person of Aduroja Tolulope who disclosed to FPE PRESS reporter G.song in a press conference that the election at the SURC level produced GANIYU RAHMON OLAIDE from Civil engineering as speaker, AJAYI OLUMIDE from SLT as deputy speaker, ALAMU AKOREDE TOAREED from computer science as clerk of the house while ADEAGBO OLUSHOLA from Estate management emerged as the house chief whip,in his press release further stated that at the SUJC level AJALA OLUWAFEMI from statistics emerged as Chief Justice, OWOLABI ADENIYI from the department of architecture Tech as the CPC while BELLO RIDWAN from SLT emerged as the chief registrar.

FPE PRESS Reporter G.song further gathered that following the announcement of the results, some students who could not hide their feelings expressed their excitement, reactions to the conduct of the election, an electoral official who didn’t want his name on print asserted that the election went on a smooth ride as he had not observed any misconduct during the election while describing the event as “free and fair”.
