Emeka Ani Biography
Emeka Ani born 13th February, is a veteran Nigerian actor, producer and director and one of the pioneers of Nollywood. He hails from Amator community in Ugbawka clan in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Emeka Ani Educational Background
Emeka had his primary education in Amator community in 1966. He later went to Awkunawnaw Boys Secondary school where he spent just 3 years before attending Aba Boys Trade Centre, now Abia State Technical School.
Emeka went further to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maduguri after learning a motor spare parts.
Emeka Ani Career
Emeka Ani began his acting career in 1989 in what many described as the strangest manner in Onitsha, Anambra State where he was selling motor spare parts.
He was approached by a director who was shooting a movie close to his shop to join the crew, as he Emeka looked like a Chief. That was the beginning of his journey to fame and greatness in the movie industry.
Emeka acted his first ever movie, “Betrayal”. His brilliant performance in the movie paved the way for his subsequent Nollywood movies, some of which are:

- Indecent Girl
- The Carcass among numerous others.
Emeka is creative, skillful and highly talented Nollywood actor known for good interpretation of roles in movies. He is popular in dressing in a Priest-like or herbalist attire, playing movies roles with his heavy beards that give him fearful look. He has many fans that delight in watching his movies.
