Prathap Pothan Death Cause: Pratap Pothen, a well-known actor and filmmaker of Malayali cinema passed away at the age of 70, the Panchmanga actor took his last breath in his house in Kilpauk, Chennai.

Born in 1952 in Thiruvananthapuram, Pratap is an actor, film producer, scriptwriter, and director. He completed his schooling at Lawrence School, Lovedale in Ooty for his schooling. Later he went to Madras Christian College for his graduation.

Pratap and actress Raadhika married back in 1985. The couple divorced in 1986. He married Amala Sathyanath in 1990. In 2012, the two ended their 22-year-long marriage. Amala and Pratap have a together, Keya.

He was found dead on July 15th 2022 in his residence in Kerala.
