Photos of Underage Couple Who Tied The Knot In Sokoto, Stir Reactions

A 17-yr-old boy named Abubakar has reportedly tied the knot with a 15-year-old girl known as Maryam, thereby sparking reactions online.

The teenagers were said to have recently held the nikkah (Muslim wedding) in Sokoto state and it was attended by family members.

Photos of the underage couple surfaced online and got people debating about whether it is legally and morally acceptable.
