#PayUsViaBVN trends as Nigerians ask FG to pay palliatives directly into their bank accounts
#PayUsViaBVN is trending on Twitter as Nigerians are asking the President Buhari-led government to use their BVN to pay palliatives into their accounts.
The President yesterday Monday April 13th announced a two week extension of the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and the FCT. Some Nigerians took to their social media pages, asking the government to give out at least N20,000 each to citizens.

You think Buhari's government does not know that paying via bvn is the easiest and most transparent way they can pay us? They know. Their only problem is that with this method, adequate accounts can be kept about their expenses and they won't be able to steal much. #payusviaBVN

I don’t think there’s no other government that is more shameless and fraudulent as the one we are dealing with right now.
How can you lockdown 3 states because they’re affected with the virus and started sharing money to states that are not affected & on lockdown?#payusviaBVN

The EFCC uses the BVN to track and arrest fraudsters. Banks uses the BVN to debit loan defaulters directly.
So why won’t the FG and audio money banks #payusviaBVN ?? What is the essence of the BVN? It is useless then.
