How Did Paul McNaughton Die?
The multi-talented Wicklow native competed for Garden County in inter-county football, played for Shelbourne in the League of Ireland, shone for Greystones and Leinster, and earned 15 caps for his nation.
He then became the province’s manager during the professional era. From 2009 to 2011, he also served as Ireland’s manager under Declan Kidney as their coach. After that, he presided over Greystone RFC. In 2018, he was inducted into the Leinster Rugby Hall of Fame.
Leinster Rugby announced his death news this morning, describing McNaughton as “the very definition of a ‘sportsman’.” He played inter-county and represented Garden County in Gaelic football and played soccer with Shelbourne. He was an avid player. However, Paul McNaughton cause of death is not known yet.

Paul McNaughton Cause of Death
Former Irish Rugby player Paul McNaughton has passed away suddenly. Paul McNaughton cause of death was not disclosed yet.
Sportsman McNaughton, who played in two FAI Cup finals with Shelbourne and also played for the Wicklow senior footballers, was incredibly diverse and adaptable. He won 15 caps for Ireland between 1978 and 1981.

Before moving to Chicago in 1981, he earned 15 caps. When he later returned to Ireland, he played for Greystones in football, Greystones United in rugby, and Eire OG in Gaelic football.
Before rejoining his hometown team, McNaughton played rugby while attending Rockwell College, Dublin University, and Wanderers.
