Oyo Police Parade 6 Men In Ibadan Over Ekugbemi’s Murder, As CP Vows To Arrest One Million Boys Kingpin

Oyo State Police Command has paraded Six suspected criminals in connection with the murder of the slained Mashood Oladokun also know as Ekugbemi.

Briefing journalists on the development at the Oyo State Police Command Headquarters Eleyele Ibadan, the Capital city of Oyo State, the State commissioner of Police, CP Olukolu Olushina said that on 11, 04, 2020 at the 1Pm, a distressed call was made to the Sanyo Division and SARS Office Dugbe Ibadan that there was a serious pandemonium at a building construction site in Sokelu Village, Olunde area of Ibadan, between two armed bandit group known as the One Million Boys and the Bonfoto Boys, led by one Abiola Ebila and Mashood Oladokun also know as Ekugbemi respectfully.

According to the the CP Olukolu, who said the gang has been unleashing mayhem on the innocent citizen of the area for several years, they used to rub, attacks and inflicted several bodily injuries on some innocent citizen.

While given details on their arrest, the CP said that the SARS Operatives and Special Operations team thatbwas set up by Oyo State Government, swung into action sequel to the distress call made by the member of the public, on getting to the scene of the crime, the leader of the Bonfoto Boys was found dead in the pool of his blood, the SARS team then commence investigation into the matter while the Special Operations team prevented any form of reapraisal attacks.

It was in the course of the intense and detailed investigations, that the owner of the construction site as Babatunde Oladapo aged 34 and five members of the rival armed bandit who also identified themselves as Azeez Oyadina , also know as Olori Odo aged 32, Opeyemi Kolapo A.K.A. Olobo 27, Sola Sunday 27, Nururdeen Adeogun A.K.A. Eji 29, and Bayonle Hammed A.K.A. Blackberry 28 were arrested in connection with Ekugbemi murder.

Speaking with the journalists, Azeez Oyadina aged 32 confessed to be part of the One Million Boys gang, he said “i was part of the reprisal attack, but I was not the one who killed Ekugbemi, it was Big Head one of us who is currently at large that killed him, he used this knive here to stab him , though he did not immediately but we were later told that he died of the injury he sustained from the stab.

Exhibit recovered from the suspected criminal are, three Poisonous Knives, One Cutlass, One Handsaw, Two Hammer, One Axe, Three pairs of Scissors and wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian Hemp

However, CP Olukolu Olushina said those arrested have been helping the police in their investigations, and all hands are on deck to make sure that the ring leader of the One Million Boys Abiola Ebila is arrested and face the full wrath of the law.
