Oyo: Makinde Resumes Work After Testing Negative For Coronavirus

Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has announced resumption as head of state’s COVID-19 taskforce after recovery from the virus.

The governor stated this in a series of tweets on Sunday night.

“I am also grateful to all members of the Task Force for their cooperation during this time.

“I will be resuming my responsibility as Head of the Task Force from tomorrow.(Monday),” he said.

Recall that Naijaparry News had earlier reported that Makinde tested positive for the virus. A development which made him proceed on self isolation and handed over the Oyo State Covid-19 Task force to Prof Temitope Alonge, a former UCH medical director.

As at 09:30 pm 5th April, there are 232 confirmed cases, 33 discharged, 5 deaths in Nigeria.
