Nomthi Odukoya revealed in an interview she met Pastor Taiwo Odukoya when he came to minister at Triumphant Church International, London, where she worshipped. She revealed that she did not have her eyes on him, because like every other minister that had come before him, she saw him as a man of God and found his message amazing and absorbing, which made her buy one of his books, titled Home Affairs.
Nomthi Odukoya Marriage
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya had lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya on the 10th of December 10th, 2005.
However, in January 2010, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya married South African, Miss Rosemary Simangele Zulu at the Civic Centre in Lagos.
In a chat with the Punch Newspapers, the pretty lady who now has two children, claimed she did not envision getting married to a pastor.
“I did not know I was going to serve God in this capacity. I was against it because I thought pastors were responsible for peoples’ lives. I believed it was a burden too much to bear and I did not want to be held accountable if people did not live according to the gospel of Christ. I felt serving God and supporting the gospel in whatever way I could, was enough. I did not see myself in a leadership position in a country other than South Africa for that matter.”
Nomthi Odukoya Death
Nomthi reportedly died of cancer.
She died on the 9th of November after battling cancer for two years. The announcement was made on her Instagram page.
