“Nobody Paved The Way For Burna Boy” – Nigerian Rapper, Odumodublvck

Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck has said that nobody in the industry helped Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy to achieve career success.

He stated this in a video response to those criticising Burna for declaring himself the best among his contemporaries.

Odumodu, who is a fan of the ‘Odogwu’ crooner said Jesus Christ paved the way for Burna and not a human being.

According to the Declan Rice hit-maker, nobody in the industry likes the Grammy winner because he does not act subservient to anybody.

He said the singer has been through a lot and he made a way for himself despite coming from a humble background.

Odumodublvck accused people in Nigeria of trying to take the glory of someone’s success while using Burna Boy as a case study.

The rapper asked people to leave Burna alone, saying that if he crowns himself the best then everyone should accept it like that.

Odumodu said; “I wake up for morning I dey see people dey talk say why Burna Boy talk say nobody pave way for am. Baba, nobody pave way for Burna Boy, na God, Jesus Christ pave way for am.

For this industry nobody like Burna Boy because that guy has the guts….2012 dem dey shxx on that guy. He is coming from the trenches, so none of you should come and say ‘I helped this guy’

If today person help you na based on say God possess you to help that person, but for Naija una go wan dey take glory for another person success.”
