Dr. Nkem Okeke is a Nigerian Politician and member of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nkem Okeke has been the Deputy Governor of Anambra State since 17 March 2014.

Nkem Okeke had his secondary education at Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha. After his secondary education, he traveled abroad for his tertiary education. He attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he studied Civil Engineering. Then he proceeded to Howard University, where he completed his Master’s in Business Administration and Ph.D. in Monetary Economics.
Nkem Okeke Career
He first served as Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, and again as Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Transport in the administration of Governor Peter Obi and later went back to immerse himself in academia as lecturer and head of department of economics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Born into the family of R.N. Okeke, in Enugwu-Ukwu.
He was until recently Head of Department of Economics Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
He is the current deputy governor of Anambra State which he assumed office on March 17, 2014.
In October 2021, Anambra State deputy governor, Nkem Okeke, dumped All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
