Nigerian Prophet And Five Others Sentenced To Life Imprisonment Over Missing Child

Nigerian religious leader and General Overseer of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Pastor Samuel Babatunde popularly known as Alfa Babatunde, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Ondo State High Court Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola for the disappearance of a 1-year-old boy, Gold Kolawole in his church.

About a year ago, Gold was pronounced missing during a church service at the children’s section of Sotitobire Praying Ministry located at Oshinle Quarters in Akure.

Justice Odusola said in his hudgement that on the basis of evidence provided by the prosecution team, Pastor Alfa Babatunde and his 5 others were found guilty of two counts of kidnapping, aiding and abetting to kidnap therefore he has passed a life imprisonment on them.
