New NIESV excos go spiritual, seek divine guidance

The newly-inauguatrated executives of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, NIESV, on Friday went spiritual, praying for divine guidance in their running of the institutions affairs.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja after a special Ju’maat prayer at the National Mosque, the new President of NIESV, Rowland Abonta, said: “the purpose of the special Ju’maat prayer was to commit the entire institution and all our activities under the new administration into the hands of God.

“That’s why we acknowledge that for us to go far, we must as a matter of urgency start our tenure by seeking divine guidance so that we would remain on course as well as keep our members united.

“But, I must say that it does not end here, every member of the institute must continue to pray for the success of NIESV and the entire nation at large,” Abonta said.

While praying for the members of the institute, the Murshid of National Mosque, Professor Shehu Ahmed, implored the Almighty Allah to assist them in their endeavour as a group in the interest of the nation.
