NAPS Congratulates Dr. Samson Odedina, lauds Gov. Amosun

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has congratulated the pioneer Rector of Ogun State Polytechnic, Dr. Samson Adeola Odedina for bagging the “Award Of Excellence” from FUNAAB Alumni.

NAPS National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye, made the commendation in a brief statement on Sunday in Abeokuta.

According to Ijaduoye, NAPS joins other well wishers in congratulating a hardworking and philanthropist father. This is a rare privilege and acknowledgment of his fatherly love he has shown students and his courageous effort as team leader in all aspect. This records are visible as he performed wonderful well as the Provost of Federal College of Agriculture Akure by constructing ultra modern auditorium, construction of roads, construction of hotel and standard eatery within the campus etc.

The award to Dr. Samson affirms Funaab Alumni commitment to identify the great work he has done. This also means that the Nigerian students appreciates his determination to stem the negative effects of irresponsibility on the educational development.

He urged other leaders of the various institution in Ogun stare and Nigeria at large to take a foot print of Dr. Samson, so that the education sector in Nigeria and Ogun state will have a bright light at the end of the dark tunnel.

Ijaduoye also lauded the incumbent governor of Ogun state, Governor Ibikunle Amosun for detecting someone of a good character and leadership skill like Dr. Odedina. He urged his administration to keep their eyes rolling for many, so that, Ogun state education can have an unbeaten record across the globe. He also appeal to all stakeholders in Ogun Poly to support the management to achieve greater things on campus.
