NANS ZONE D INAUGURATED NEW EXECUTIVES

FPE PRESS gathered that NANS in Zone D has on Friday 2nd of March 2018 inaugurated new members of its executive council.

FPE PRESS reporter G.song gathered that many powerful comrade in the NANS umbrella braved the euphoric atmosphere at Olagunsoye oyinlola hall banquet at federal polytechnic Ede to catch a glimpse of the inauguration of new executives of NANS zone D.

The event which was well girded by security operatives started with aluta chants,our correspondent reporter G.song who was at the event gathered that the event trailed highly recognized dignitaries from the Rector of Federal polytechnic Ede represented by the dean of student’s affair in person of Alhaji Adelabu, the vibrant sub dean of the institution in person of Dr. Ulabor, DPO division 8 Ede represented by DSP Alex Oladele, DSS Ede division, the Guest speaker prof. Mojeeb Alabi a professor of political science and public law also represented by Bar. Waliu, to the Senate President of NANS Salam Oyejide, Engr. Abass Olajide representing the Attorney General in the State of Osun, Bar. Shittu a legal luminary, comr. Belie, Comr. Awoko, the host Comr. Mohammed Raji Mohammed,comr. Seedorf, Hon. Ayoola Oluwaseyi and other powerful comrades across the Zone D axis and beyond.

The event was put on the air with aluta chart anchored by comr. O. Destiny followed by brief recognition address by the host SUG president in person of Comr. MRM.

Subsequently,FPE PRESS reporter G.song gathered that the Guest speaker while speaking emphasizes on the need of sound education for effective public development,while charging the Nigerian students to be dedicated in delivering the highest quality of education that can sustain the development of the nation.

Similarly,the powerful NANS Senate President Salam Oyejide in his Key note address stressed on student’s education and emancipation while ascribing education as a catalyst for national development.

In another development,after the swearing in exercise, Comr. Adekiitan lukman Adebisi redeemed his commitment,underscored that his new leadership will not hesitate to produce time to time press statement and press conferences to address issues that are paramount to student’s welfare as well as issues of national importance,stressing that there will be vigorous move to reinstate all politically victimized, suspended, or expelled students across the geopolitical zone,however buttressed that there will be demand for enough and sufficient funding of education in the annual budget to meet the UN standard and time to time workshops, lectures, symposia will be organised to widen the scope of social understanding of students union across the zone.

The event ended with closing address from the ever – committed sub dean of student’s affair federal polytechnic ede in person of Dr. Ulabor who emphasizes on the versatility of Nigerian students and charge all to be socially oriented, cognitive and creative.
