Milk Crates Challenge 2021: Thingz To Know About The Viral Tiktok Challenge

Ever since TikTok kicked off last year it’s been full of weird and occasionally dangerous challenges and now the latest one involves people climbing on milk crates and filming it – this is the crate challenge.

If you’ve been on Twitter or TikTok in the last few days you’ll probably have seen this challenge which involves someone climbing a stack of ascending milk crates and usually falling off

However some people have truly mastered the art and are now rolling blunts or walking in heels whilst completing the challenge.

The crate challenge now has over 25 million views on TikTok and this is everything you need to know about it:

Who started the milk crate challenge?

According to Know Your Meme, the milk crate challenge began over a week ago when a video was posted on 13th August of a few people in a park trying the challenge by Facebook users Kenneth Waddell and Jordan Browne.

The video was shared on Facebook and soon went viral. It then made its way over to TikTok and the trend was born.

How do you do the crate challenge?

If you’re prepared to make a fool out of yourself on the Internet then you’ll need to get a stack of milk crates.

Then the crates need to be stacked so that there is between six and eight on the bottom row and then decreasing the amount of crates you put on each subsequent layer.

They need to be in a step formation with the top row having just one crate and then you can go ahead and climb it. Just be careful not to injure yourself for internet clout.
