Tertsea Michael Aboh of Zule Zoo Singing Duo alongside with Ibrahim Alhassan Aka Ibro . They were on top of Nigeria’s music industry ten years ago. The duo known as “Zule Zoo” of Africa broke-up in 2005 following a widely spread rumor that Tertsea the duo’s choreographer and composer reportedly went mad.
The Presence of Zule Zoo, a sensational traditional musical group created the slang in the Nigerian music industry. Although, the group that is made up of Ibrahim Alhassan and Michael Aboh had three follow-up albums which include Chumpa Reloaded and Destiny, their controversial debut album titled Kerewa that was full of pulsating beats and lewd lyrics, was what kept the name Zule Zoo in the consciousness of music lovers.
Mike Tertsea Aboh of Zule Zoo started his solo career and relocated to Makurdi, the Benue State capital. In 2011, he recorded “Ator” which was a controversial song at that time following the Ugbah/Suswam election case which many believed justice did not prevail. The song was produced by Mac T-Brown a.k.a St. Tee at the then St. Hills Music Studio located in the Benue State Capital, Makurdi.
Tertsea who is struggling so hard to regain his fame may settled down with Abigail Malu. Abigail is a singer and dancer as well; she resides in Abuja Nigeria’s capital city but hails from Benue where her betrothed is based.
Aboh’s music partner, Hassan Ibrahim, aka Ibro had alleged that Aboh was into drugs and alcohol, saying he was mentally unstable.
NGNEWS247 reports that Aboh has been in Makurdi since life became unbearable for him in Lagos State.
In an interview he recently granted recently, Aboh debunked report that he was mentally unstable. He however, admitted that he has been going through several challenges since he relocated from Lagos.
Mike Aboh Cause of Death
According to reports currently making the rounds, the “Kerewawa” dance crooner died on Saturday morning in Makurdi the Benue State capital.
Terna Rapsody Hyacinth who is close to the Family, confirmed the development in a post on his official Facebook page.
He wrote, “I wish people were eager to help you survive when you were alive suffering, roaming the street of Makurdi than the way they are eager to let the world know of your demise today!! Rest on Legend”.
Ibrahim expressed sadness over the sudden demise of his colleague.
He wrote: “It is so sad and quick to say after our long run together in this life to live a better life coming short for you…
My brother collapsed while taking his bath this morning and now My Michael is no more.
“Tears has behold my eyes and my hands are shaking as I can’t hide the fact that you’ve passed on this day😭😭😭 really cannot question God for I have lost the other part of myself, a brother and a friend. Oh Death Why? Rest In Peace.”
Zule Zoo rose to the limelight after the success of their smash hit ‘Kerewa’ released in early 2000.
