Bakre, the father of BBNaija star Tobi Bakre, has devoted a large part of his life to the banking industry, where he has held many executive positions and achieved record-breaking successes.
Bakre has a broad knowledge of finance, which explains his meteoric climb in the banking world since his one-year mandatory NYSC service at the now-defunct Continental Merchant Bank in 1987.
After a decade of distinguished service at First City Monument Bank FCMB, where he departed as the executive director of institutional banking after a decade of distinguished service, he re-emerged at Parallex Bank as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer last year.
Barrister Kingsley Otuaro, Deputy Governor of Delta State, Otunba Lekan Osifeso, Ernest Ndukwe, Pastors and members of Christ Embassy Church, among others, were present for the official inauguration of the lender’s activities on Friday afternoon in Lagos.
