Man Sends Fulani Herdsmen to Kidnap and Kill His Boss For Sacking him in Oyo (Photos)

Authorities in Oyo have arrested no fewer than five persons for allegedly abducting and killing a poultry farm owner, Mr. Sunday Aladeniyi, after collecting ransom from his family.

The deceased lifeless body, according to the police was later recovered in a forest along Ijebu-Ode Road where the kidnappers dumped it.

Commissioner for Police, Mr. Abiodun Odude, while parading a total of 24 suspects for various offences at the Eleyele Police Headquarters, Ibadan, described the suspected kidnappers as sons of “Lucifer”.

The suspects, whom Odude said will soon be charged to court for prosecution were: Abdullahi Musa (37), Isah Tambaya (20), Yuguda Yusuf (35), Aminu Ahmadu (24), and Ojo John (34).

Odude explained that they were arrested following a report made at the Idi-Ayunre Police Division.

One of the suspects, Abdullahi Musa, who confessed to the crime revealed that one of the staff of the victim had invited other members of the gang , mainly Fulani herders to kidnap their boss and were given N20,000 each out of the money collected from the family as ransom.

According to him, they had no plan to kill the poultry farmer until one of them raised the alarm that if allowed to go, he (Aladeniyi) would reveal their identities.

The Police added that on the completion on investigation they will be charged to court.
