Mama Rainbow adopts Lateef Adedimeji on 36th birthday

Veteran actress Idowu Philips aka Mama Rainbow has adopted her younger colleague, Lateef Adedemeji as a son.

The 79-year-old film star, who visited the newly wedded actor and his wife, Mo Bimpe in their hotel room to celebrate his birthday, showered motherly prayers on the actor who was on his knees holding onto her as he claimed every word of prayer.

Afterward, Iya Rainbow hugged Mrs. Adedimeji with a friend who sat on the bed and prayed for them.

In her caption, the veteran act while felicitating with the celebrant noted the day is also a special one for her as she became a mother yet again by her acceptance of the ‘mother’ title accorded her by Adedimeji.

She shared a video of her video with the caption: “Oko mi am Wishing you a fabulous birthday, son. Today is the most special day for me. I became a mother on this day.

“Happy birthday, my prince! I wish every day of your life brings you new reasons to smile @adedimejilateef @mo_bimpe.”

On February 17, 2021 many months before the couple eventually announced their wedding date, Mama Rainbow hinted on actor Lateef Adedimeji getting married soon.

She shared a picture with Lateef via her Instagram.

Describing him as her last born, the actress said she will be announcing his wedding date soon in response to her curious followers.
