Luyanda Zwane was born on February 7, 2004, is a South African social media influencer, model, and actor. In the telenovela Sibongile & The Dlaminis, she played the title character. Luyanda has participated in several television productions since her debut as a youngster in eTV’s medical opera Durban Gen. She plays Nomonde, Yvonne Zikode’s daughter, in the BET serial Redemption. In the TV serial Shaka ILembe, Zwane played the character Vundlazi. She has worked alongside numerous well-known local actors.

Luyanda Zwane as born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Luyanda next landed the recurring role of Nomonde Gumede, a beautiful teenage girl and a wolf in sheep’s clothing who unlocks Pandora’s box and wreaks havoc on those around her, in the BET telenovela Redemption.

She made her first appearance in the role in Season 1, Episode 94, which aired on 7 March, 2023.

In the same year she was cast in the role of Vundlazi on the Mzansi Magic drama series Shaka iLembe.

Luyanda landed her first starring role in television when she was cast as Sibongile Mbambo, an innocent young rural woman forced to leave her family and dreams behind to become a domestic worker in the lavish mansion of the affluent Dlamini family, in the Mzansi Wethu telenovela Sibongile & The Dlaminis.
