For the U.S. National Team, Vu made a number of successful performances. She earned four points at the 2018 Curtis Cup and, along with Jennifer Kupcho and Kristen Gillman, won the 2018 Espirito Santo Trophy in Ireland.
She also triumphed in the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup at the French golf course at Evian Resort. She finished second behind Lauren Stephenson in the 2014 AJGA Girls Championship, and she won the 2016 Women’s Southern California Amateur Championship.
She tied for third at the Canadian Women’s Amateur and finished third alone at the SCGA Women’s Amateur Championship.
2015 saw Vu enroll at UCLA. She won the Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year honor in 2016 while a UCLA Bruin, then in 2018 she finished as a finalist for the Honda Trophy and was named WGCA Player of the Year and Pac-12 Conference Golfer of the Year.
