Authorities discovered Leo (actual name: Laith Abdallah Algaz) face down in the bathtub of the flat, naked save from a black shirt, with blood dripping from his mouth and face.

Laith Abdallah Algaz, or Leo Rex as he was known by fans, had built up a following through his unique takes on men’s health matters – from bodybuilding techniques to nicotine.

Algaz’s channel, Leo And Longevity, has over 130,000 subscribers and his content typically offered non-conventional advice on how his followers could improve their mental and physical well-being.

Having hailed from Colorado originally, Algaz had been living in the Bang Lamung district of East Thailand and it has been reported locally that the YouTuber was known to be a rather introverted individual.

Tributes have been made beneath a recent Instagram post as fans came together to mourn the loss of the 34-year-old. “Rip Leo, thank you for the knowledge you gifted us over the years. You will be missed”, wrote one fan.

“RIP Leo”, added another dejected fan, “I’m stunned and can’t process this. I can’t believe it. It looked like things were turning out well.”
