Kingship Tussle: Angry Youths Invade, Shut Down Palace Of Akire In Osun (Photos)

Some angry youths have invaded and shut down the Palace of the Akire of Ikire land in the state.

During the invasion, the youths chased out Chiefs, members of Akire Council and the Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi.

The invasion occurred around 10 o clock on Monday morning and while leaving residents of the town in palpable fear.

Naijaparry News gathered that the youth’s actions followed the non-implementation of the Supreme Court judgement that declared the stay of Oba Olatunde Falabi on the throne as illegal.

The legitimacy of Oba Olatunde Falabi as the Akire has suffered legal dismissal when a Supreme Court in 2014 ordered the dismissal of the King while noting that it was not his turn to ascend the reputable throne in the state.
