She co-wrote a book titled Depth-Inversion “Easillusions” and “Hardillusions”: Differences for Scenes and Faces that examined how people perceive two depth-inversion illusions, which cause them to see a depth structure that is the opposite of the stimulus’s actual depth.
Echazaerreta experimented with various materials as the PCB and body of the robot while keeping electrically segregated areas while working as a research assistant at UCLA’s Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science in 2017.

Out of more than 7,000 candidates, Echazarreta was chosen by the Space For Humanity project to fly into space on the Blue Origin NS-21 as a Space for Humanity Ambassador.
