Junior Pope’s Burial Posters Controversy, Family Speaks Out
The family of the late actor Junior Pope clarifies concerns regarding his viral burial posters while addressing the omission of the ‘husband’ description.
It would be recalled that the family recently announced the funeral arrangements for the late actor, scheduling his burial for May 17th, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu state.
Several observant fans noted that the obituary poster did not include the term ‘husband’, which sparked speculation.
Before his passing, Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele, and they have three sons; although speculations surfaced about their separation.
Responding to the circulating burial posters, Junior’s family on Instagram, clarified that it was not authorized by them. They acknowledged the need for corrections on the poster and requested the public’s assistance in taking down the viral burial posters.
The statement reads;
“Dear Junior Pope Fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope displayed needs some corrections. The family has requested your assistance in bringing it down. They mentioned that the revised version will be released soon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”.
It is worth noting that the actor passed on some weeks ago alongside some of his crew members following a boat accident.
