Iyinoluwa Samuel Aboyeji (born March 28, 1991) is a Nigerian entrepreneur. He is a co-founder of Andela, and was the former managing director of Flutterwave. Aboyeji was cited as one of the Top 100 most influential Africans by New African magazine in 2019.

Where Is IYIN Aboyeji From? Iyinoluwa Aboyeji was born to parents from Warri, Delta state and raised in Nigeria.
He attended Loyola Jesuit College, located in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Aboyeji completed his Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination and graduated from this school in 2007.
From there, he enrolled in Columbia International College where he earned degrees in International Development, Legal Studies, and Economics. Without stopping, he furthered his education at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies.

Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, when he was 18, he worked as an intern with the World Youth Alliance in the United Nations Headquarters. Then he went on to run one of Canada’s largest student owned publishing houses, Imprint Publications as President of the Board. He is founder of Bookneto Inc, a social e-learning platform for University professors to independently teach online courses.
In 2014, Aboyeji met up with Jeremy Johnson, an old friend, and they spoke about founding Andela, a talent accelerator that recruits and trains software developers and connects them with employers. It grew to be one of Nigeria’s best-known start-ups. It received a $24 million investment from Facebook founder Zuckerberg and Aboyeji helped build it to over $100 million market cap in two years.
In 2016, he left Andela to start Flutterwave, a provider of technology and infrastructure solutions for digital payments across Africa. The company is a multimillion dollar company that has processed over $760 million through 7.5 million transactions for merchants in partnership with financial institutions across Africa.
Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is passionate about the development of the tech ecosystem in Africa. Currently, he is the founder and general partner of Future Africa (also known as the Fund for Africa’s Future), a fund manager that invests early in mission-driven founders solving hard problems for large markets. He trains and mentors budding techpreneurs and prepares them for expansion and to take advantage of funding opportunities. He often takes lessons in Silicon Valley and other parts of the US.
Iyinoluwa Aboyeji sits on the board of several institutions including Paris’ Share Africa Project, Rainbow Educational Services Limited and Filmo Realty. He served as the Deputy Director-General for Madam Oby Ezekwesili’s 2019 Presidential Campaign.
