It’s a man’s responsibility to take custody of a child even if DNA reveals the baby isn’t his – Nigerian strategist, Bamidele

A Nigerian social media strategist known as Bamidele, has said it is the responsibility of men to cater for a child even after finding out they aren’t the biological father.

She stated this on her Twitter account while making a case for husbands to overlook any case of paternity fraud committed by their wives.

Bamidele said that if a man takes his child for a DNA test and the result shows that the baby belongs to someone else, so long as he is in a relationship with the women, he ought to take custody of the child.

According to her, women go through a lot during childbirth and it is only right for their men to treat them better despite the situation.

She wrote; “Men, if you check your baby’ DNA and the child is not yours, so far you are with the woman it is your responsibility to take custody of the baby. It doesn’t change anything.

Women go through a lot in Childbirth and women deserve better.”
