Nollywood actress and producer, Ini Edo has been left emotional after her movie, Shanty Town bagged 10 nominations at AMVCA.

A joyous Ini Edo noted how she knew she was going to get a nomination, but didn’t know it would come in such grand style.

Giving a shout-out to the entire cast and crew, she appreciated them for their support.

Ini Edo didn’t fail to appreciate the audience who took the gospel of Shanty far and near.

She crowned them the real MVPs.

“It cost me my tears, blood” Ini Edo spills on new deal with Netflix.

Speaking about her movie, Ini Edo opened up on her new deal with Netflix and how much it cost her.

Netflix had announced that a Nigerian series that stars Ini Edo, Richard Mofe Damijo, Shaffy Bello, Mercy Eke, and more would start streaming on the platform on January 20, 2023.

“Some delightful news to end the year. Shanty Town, a 6-episode series, is coming to Netflix on January 20. Here’s your first look.” the platform wrote.

Responding to the post, Ini Edo announced that the 6 episode series was co-produced by her and it cost her tears and blood.
