Inec Recruitment 2019: Election Body Engages 30,000
The Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) has said it employed about 30,000 ad-hoc staff for the 2019 election in Nasarawa State.
This was revealed by the Inec Resident Electoral Commissioner in Nasarawa Uthman Ajidagba.
Ajidagba said this on Wednesday in Lafia where he added that about 8,000 members of the National Youth Service Corps were recruited by Inec for the exercise.
According to him, Inec had finished the training of the Supervisory Presiding Officers.
He also revealed that the electoral body had intensified awareness campaign against violence in the election.
Inec Recruitment: Election Body Starts Training
In a related Inec recruitment story, Inec has started a three-day training of its ad-hoc staff in Cross River State following the commencement of the recruitment.
