IMSU Final Year Student Who Was Shot Dead On Her Birthday, Buried Amid Tears (See Photos)

The Imo state University, IMSU, final year student who was killed by gunmen on her 23rd birthday has been buried amid tears.

The 400L student of Banking and Finance, was laid to rest Friday, May 12th at Abakuru in Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo state – with family members, friends and students present.

Recall that Late Ibeh kelechi Assumpta, a final year student who is expected to graduate by August this year was shot dead by unknown gunmen while celebrating her birthday on Wednesday, 21st March at Douglas in Owerri, the state capital.

The President of the department, Mr. Victor Adiele in a tribute on behalf the school Management said “We send our hearty and warmth condolence over the death of our colleague Ibeh Kelechi Assumpta, her death was a big shock to us and we are aggrieved knowing fully that our colleague is no more”.

“We pray that God Almighty will grant the family of IBEH, the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”, he added.
